JM: How many different blocks were there? Lola: 2 different "block" sides Eve: Not sure. Pat: c and b block two very small blocks a and d
then h block the gym? i think they changed that
then there was the blocks right down the way
from h block then ther was outmate i think that
was it
JM: Did they have names? If so, what were they? Lola: Not on the women's side Eve: There was the gym, which I believe was called "G".
There was an A, B, C which is Pre-Class, H. There
were probably more. There was also the outmate. Pat: a,b,c,d,h,out mate
JM: Which types of inmates were housed in the different blocks? Lola: Men's side had several blocks, not sure of their
names. Eve: There was supposed to be minimum security, medium
security and maximum security, but it seemed
wherever there was an open bed you were put. In my
block, there were immigration people, people in
for fines, first-timers, probation violators,
murderers, etc. There is a medical unit if you
need to be and then there was BAU, which was the
"hole". Pat: h block was for minimum a.b.c.d. was for maximum
JM: What do you remember being the nicest and worst parts about the different blocks? Lola: No blocks on womens side Eve: Pre-Class was the worst because of being locked
down so much every day. The rest of the blocks
weren't that bad unless they punished the entire
block for one person's actions. Pat: h block had micrwaves and down the way did also
a.c.b.d. did not they only had the t.v's
